How to Make an Origami Cactus -- a DIY Video Tutorial

It's no secret that we are in love with cacti, and now we've created an easy DIY origami potted cactus video for you.

For this project, you can use any squared off paper that you have or make from upcycling. Thin and strong paper works best. This particular project is nice because it uses the same size square for both the cactus and the pot.

It's fun to mix and match various green shades with a variety of pot colors. We could see using these little cactuses on the tops of handmade cards or on scrapbooking pages. They would also make adorable bunting and party decor. Pasting a bunch down onto pink butcher paper would look great on a tabletop or hung on the wall as a photo backdrop.
