Our all-inclusive kits have everything you need to make one complete cactus -- from a deluxe crochet hook to a printed and illustrated pattern to the needle for finishing.
If you know the basics of crochet, you can complete each one in a couple of hours (the how-to video is embedded later in this post).
If you're brand new to crochet, don't despair -- you can teach yourself the basics via YouTube. We love Vickie Howell's "Get Schooled" quick tutorials, and these Bernat and All Free Crochet videos do a good job of explaining the Magic Loop (a technique used in our patterns).
The story of Ruby & Charley
We were inspired to create these kits by our Succulent Serenity coloring book illustrations. We think they're really cute and that they're a great value. They are also put together right here in the USA, and we're proud of that, too.
Do you have a favorite flower, herb or plant you'd like to bring to life via crochet? Let us know in the comments and we can put it on our list for future development, because we envision a whole collection of Bloom Series (TM) amigurumi kits.
Watch Vickie Howell of The Knit Show teach you how to crochet and put together both Ruby and Charley on the TKS Insider series, below.
Many thanks to our talented crochet pattern designer, Laura Berry of LilBear.org.
We'd love to see your finished projects! Tag us on Instagram with #gbicraft and #globalbackyard.
